City Council - approved the waiver in the functional adaptation of the Institute Santa Maria Bambina

City Council Oristano, with 21 votes in favor, approved its request for exemption submitted by the volumetric center of Santa Maria Child care and rehabilitation to the functional adaptation of the building to safety.
Councillor Salvatore Ledda Planning explained that the changes, for a total of 600 cubic meters, are required to achieve sufficient escape routes to ensure the safety of staff and patients, through the creation of an elevator fire and service corridors on each floor.
Ledda said the new urban plan already provides this kind of volumes, but the decision of the City Council will go to derogate from the current zoning regulations in the region waiting for a ruling on the consistency of the new PUC.
