Boutonniere To Go With Peony Bouquet

Man has in himself the ability
of redemption. Behind the thesis Mancuso, the gnostic temptation
ENZO BIANCHI

The Christian sense of the word "salvation" is still largely unknown, yet the question of salvation - even if expressed in different terms - resonates strongly because today more than ever emerges desire of every man and every woman.

Con una certa audacia si potrebbe affermare anche che ogni essere umano, in under a dynamism that precedes his will and his feelings, is lured to safety with the whole creation. Salvation, to be authentic, must be declined as a liberation from the dead in their expectation of salvation as Christians are called to hope for all in the final coming of the Lord who will bring history to its fulfillment.

Now, in the Christian belief that salvation is God's action in history, the In-principle until the story itself will find its fulfillment. For Christians, then there is a story of salvation through God's action - already hailed by Israel as Goel, Redeemer, in passing from Egypt - which culminating in the Incarnation, the humanization of his Son. The Christian God is the God who saves, who takes care of the sufferer, it is the compassionate runs where there is the victim, the neighbor and do not leave even beyond death. This is what Jesus did - whose name means "the Lord saves" - with the people he met: it is past saving the lives of men, as we bear witness to the Gospel with their story telling and personal relationship with Jesus Having experienced the love to the end and without contradiction, Jesus as the Son was raised by the Father so that God's love, the love that Death is God wins. The Easter sunrise event seals the presence of genuine salvation: the risen Jesus has triumphed over death and is really the Kyrios, Lord of the Church and of the cosmos.

This is the Christian faith and the declination of Christian salvation, even today not understood by many Christians who do not dare to believe in the resurrection of Jesus, the victory of love over death and often prefer to think of salvation as self-realization, healing, happiness to acquire in the instant that passes, hope of all the therapeutic aspects of self-realization. Thus the expectation of salvation has become individualistic: each is limited to hope for himself, for the realization of their interests, identifying personal salvation with a promise of life without the other or even against others. This comes

denounced the idea of \u200b\u200bsalvation is clear, therefore, without disregarding the numerous injuries that affect their daily life, the suffering hidden beneath the glossy surface of a society constantly intent on creating an image of shimmering illusions. That's why the history of salvation to be linked with the salvation of stories already here and now you can experience the art of daily living such as salvation, a salvation so personal, but also in solidarity with others and with the cosmos. This is what he testified to the existence earthly Jesus, his path to search for the meaning of life, freedom from death.

Christian faith, therefore, think that salvation is by God, that man is saved from himself, that this salvation was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the only savior of the world, to whom compete l ' Final Act of the story, "Judgement" which will show how salvation was offered to all and by all feasible, but also reveal who will participate, according to choices made during his life choices based on love, which lead the way of life, or choices against love, which lead to the path of death and nothingness. Unfortunately this preaching in the Church today on the eschatological opinion is deficient and thus risk not only to forget the horizon of history and the ultimate realities, but also of losing the understanding of the true and final salvation. An atheist philosopher Adorno as he dared to think of liberation for all, and not by chance that it could be concluded if there was a final, that would introduce a resurrection of the dead victims of history in a state of salvation and return to integrity . This is for Christians a belief essential of faith: if Christ is not risen, if there is no final decision, vain is our faith and we Christians are to be pitied as the poorest (see First Corinthians 15: 17-19).

Christian opposed to this idea soon other readings of salvation or other salvation, as declared by the "gnosis," where salvation lies in a realization by man of himself and of his divine identity with the original in itself, without God, a capacity for redemption. Today, in the wake of diagnosis, through our culture, many conceptions of salvation which deny or diminish the action of the living God in salvation history: the unwary "story of Jesus of Nazareth ', are brought to relegate the event of the cross and resurrection of Jesus in simple eloquence of love. If the story of revelation of God from Abraham to Moses to Jesus is reduced to a particular story, which covers a time and a particular people, can be felt as a matter incapable of universal significance, as it has always viewed the Christian tradition.

is why, without wishing to judge heretic Vito Mancuso nor want to order, I read his last two books as belonging to a galaxy gnosis resurrected today. The Christian faith, and not only Catholic, but is convinced that Jesus of Nazareth was and is "the image of the invisible God," the exegesis of the Father, the Son of God made man, the right condemned and crucified because in a mondo ingiusto questa è la fine che spetta al giusto.

This view of salvation history is not fed to "miserable artifices, nor logical leaps sensational," but stems from the vision passed down from the Old and New Testament in which a marginal people, Israel, a marginal jew, Jesus, a marginal community how the Church is not one of the possible stories, but the story chosen by God to make a covenant with all humanity, because his name may reign as the hope of salvation for all who love freedom and to adhere to good news or to 'God's image forever imprinted in every man by God himself since creation.
