children of immigrants born in Italy
roundtable Social Observatory Ugl
May 7, 2009, 16:30 Residence Ripetta room
Via Bernini Ripetta 231 - Rome
"Son of immigrants, born in Italy: an Italian citizen? when and how? "is the title of the round table organized by the Centre Ugl on social phenomena, coordinated by Eugene Cardi, to be held in Rome on May 7 at 16:30 at the Residence Ripetta (Sala Bernini).
A focus on so-called second generation, children born in Italy, the children of immigrants in our country, speak our language and our dialects, probably not even ever been in the country of origin of their parents or - often - it speak the language. Yet they are not recognized Italian citizens like everyone else. To obtain Italian citizenship, they have to undergo - at the age of 18 years of age - a long and complex bureaucratic process that does not always end with a positive outcome for the applicant, leading to inevitable and serious problems of social integration and identity. It will discuss
qualified representatives of institutions, trade unions, the Catholic and Immigration:
Bishop Victor Weddle, Director of Caritas Italian, Mario Morcone, Head of Civil Liberties and Immigration Department of the Interior Ministry, Giovanni Puglisi, President of the National Italian for UNESCO, Savino Pezzotta, President of CIR, Mussie Zerai, Presidente Agenzia Habeshia , Valerio Savio, magistrato, Mohamed Tailmoun, Portavoce Rete G2 (www.secondegenerazioni.it).
A moderare i lavori, introdotti da Eugenio Cardi, Karima Moual.
Sono ad oggi, infatti, circa 530.000 gli immigrati di seconda generazione che vivono tale disagio, un fenomeno destinato a crescere in modo esponenziale in the coming years, as new births amounted to about 50,000 a year. It 's a question of civilization, as in the rest of much of Europe, is now the case in Italy to adopt the legal concept of "jus soli", to replace the one passed the "ius sanguinis".
The roundtable will see the contribution of direct evidence of young people belonging to the Second Generation: How to Loretta Grace (vocals) and Sonia Van Arkadia (student).
The initiative is realized with the support of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and in collaboration with Associazione Culturale PUNTOEACAPO (www.associazionepuntoeacapo.it); Genemaghrebina Cultural Association (www.genemaghrebina.it); Association black and white photography, the latent image; SOCIALNEWS (www.socialnews.it).

MARIA VITA DELLA MONICA Eboli. Note that the assessor to the branch numbers and cites figures showing a case of ignoring the problem. " Agreement little incentives for ebolitani. Rosania also raises a second question: "We have heard from the reduced red zones, those subject to geological constraints. On this subject we will put the utmost care. If anyone thinks of turning the story into a land of the Eastern estate business, they're wrong. " At the end of February was released into the open Mauro Vastola, councilor of the Democratic Party. His questions are still unanswered. Vastola focuses attention on a number of elements: "Those who lands make your head? Who are occupied? With such contracts are held? Any owners coincide with the holders of contracts? Who is behind these people and these companies in various capacities, holding the land of the Eastern? What is their interest in this transaction? ". Agreement for the private audience, is the dominant feeling that prompted both Rosania Vastola is to turn to the Regional Administrative Court. The resolution of contention is the number 11 / 2009 approved by the council in February. The controversy also concerns the future of the land. How to use the land of the Eastern? "For now the mayor has dusted off Melchionda projects Carmelo Conte vecchi di vent’anni fa. Conte poi prova a ridimensionare Rosania alarm: "The red zones are no problem, even if they fall hydrogeological constraints there will be no speculation, as it is agricultural land. But the nodes are entangled. No one has stated the names and titles of current owners. Nor is the uniqueness policy numbers. While the majority speaks of "150 acres of land acquired by the municipality 'which belongs to the center Rosania Vastola and certify the exact figure" around 110 hectares. " The Councillor Marra is the most optimistic with its isolated version, "aabb closed a deal on 207 acres of land." On the one hand Melchionda the mayor and his aides talk of 'agreement historian who concludes a dispute that lasted for several centuries. " On the other hand, Rosania Vastola and not only ask the Tar annulment of the vote, but expect to be fully clarified.

Learn To Make Curtains In Singapore
from Yaounde (Cameroon)
the third day of his trip to Cameroon and Angola Benedict XVI greets the cry of the peoples of Africa, denounces multinationals exploiting natural resources, expresses solidarity street children and child soldiers and open to dialogue with Islam.
Faced with 60 000 people gathered at the stadium in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, Benedict XVI celebrated a festive Mass, on his feast day (St. Joseph), accompanied by traditional African songs.
The Pope strongly condemned those who "seek to impose the reign of money showing contempt for the poorest." He then expressed his sympathy and his prayers "for children who no longer have a father or abandoned
live in the misery of the street, those who are violently separated from their parents, mistreated and abused, and forcibly conscripted into military groups raging in some countries. "
With these words the Pope has raised this complaint in the document the hard work of the next special meeting for Africa of the Synod of Bishops, scheduled for October 4 to 25 coming to Rome. The text, prepared by the secretariat of the Synod, in consultation with the African bishops' conferences, was delivered today by Benedict XVI himself the president of the Episcopal Conferences of Africa, so be prepared
appointment in October. The working document of the Synod ('Working Paper') does not mince words
to report that "the multinationals continue to invade the continent for apprpriarsi of natural resources. Oppress local companies, buying thousands of hectares dispossessing people of their land with the complicity of African leaders. " The text also launches an alarm: "The crisis facing financial institutions today on the African continent at several levels: direct foreign investment is in jeopardy; African financial institutions will have difficulty obtaining loans from western banks, development aid is likely to suffer, because of the recession in developed markets, the demand for African products could decline. " In light of this analysis, the Synod of Bishops
calls "a reflection on the fact that Africa is excluded from the search for solutions to the current international financial system." In terms of relations with Islam, the working document of the Synod of Bishops denounce "the tendency to politicize religious affiliation" and warns of "certain currents of doctrinal positions about the Jihad," which sings the praises of holy war. The Pope, in Yaoundé nunciature met 20 representatives of Muslims of Cameroon, representing 21.8% of the population. A
two years from the speech in Regensburg, Ratzinger reiterated that "genuine religion" rejects "all forms of violence and totalitarianism, not only on principles of faith, but also according to right reason." Taking one of the key themes of the speech in Regensburg, Benedict XVI noted that "today a task particularly urgency of religion is to unveil the vast potential of human reason. " It has appealed to Muslims: "Together we work to build a civilization of love." The representatives of Muslim communities Cameroon have accepted the invitation: "Your Holiness, you are not alone," he said.
